How to Play

  • Objective: Win 3 small boards in a row (horizontally, vertically, or diagonally) on the big board.
  • Starting: Player X begins and can play on any board.
  • Next Move Rule: The cell you play in picks the board your opponent must play on next (e.g., play the top-right cell of any board → opponent must play on the top-right board; play the center cell → center board).
  • Active Board: The board where you must play is highlighted in gold (2D) or with pulsing glow (3D).
  • Board Full/Won: If you are sent to a board that is already won or full, you can play on any open board. (Example: winning the center board with its center cell sends your opponent to that same won board, so they may play anywhere.)
  • Winning: 3 boards in a row wins immediately, whatever the score.
  • Scoring (tiebreak): Winning a small board scores the number of marks on that board when it was won (3–9). If every board is finished and nobody has 3 in a row, the higher score wins; equal scores are a draw.
  • 3D Mode: Experience holographic boards floating in space with particle effects and smooth camera transitions!
  • Keyboard: Use Tab to navigate cells, Enter/Space to play. Mouse/controller supported in 3D.
